A 40 mm safety / extender chain is standard on all bracelets with a lobster clasp. If you would rather not have a safety / extender chain on the bracelet, please note this on your order in the text box with the crystal or pearl colour.

Note: The lobster clasp is recommended on bracelets for children 12 years and under.

Alphabracelets are strung on the highest quality beading wire available and are very strong and well made. However, they contain small components and may pose a choking hazard in the unlikely event the bracelet were to come apart.
Product packaging will include the above safety warning.

Sizing information

Measure the child's wrist with a flexible ( eg dressmakers) tape measure wrapped around the wrist snugly. Alternatively use a piece of string, wool, ribbon or even a strip of paper, mark where the ends meet then measure it against a flat ruler.
 
IMPORTANT – For a child's bracelet ADD 1.5 to 2.0 cm to the wrist measurement to determine the bracelet size to order – the bracelet length is from end to end including the clasp. Please note: add 2.0 cm if the clasp choice is a toggle clasp.
 
Please take the time to measure the child's wrist so as to ensure the bracelet is a perfect fit and to avoid disappointment. If the bracelet is a gift and you are not sure of the size refer to our chart below for the average sizes – this a guide only. 

If you would like the bracelet to have a little extra room for growth, then you will need to adjust the length ordered accordingly – you may need to order the bracelet in a larger size.

* Due to small variations in some beads and also the need to design each bracelet individually because of the size ordered and length of names, the bracelet you order may have a small difference in size from that ordered – always less than 0.5 cm.

JEWELLERY CARE of your child's name bracelet

Keep the bracelet in an airtight plastic bag when not being worn - this will help prevent tarnishing and scratching. It is not recommended that the child wears the bracelet when being bathed or swimming or when in contact with chemicals such as soaps, chlorine or sunscreen.

Please do not use dip style jewellery cleansers as it will remove the nice oxidised look of the Bali beads. The sterling silver components will shine up beautifully with our jewellery polishing cloth which can be purchased for just $6. Product packaging will include jewellery care information.

If you need the item in a hurry, let us know and we will try our best to get it to you in time. At peak times ie. Mothers' Day and Christmas please allow as much time as possible - at least 3 weeks.

Alphabracelets are guaranteed for 30 days against defects in materials or craftsmanship and I will gladly replace or repair your bracelet if there is any problem.

If you are not satisfied with the quality or crafting of your bracelet, please notify Alphabracelets immediately and return it by registered post within 14 days – shipping costs will be refunded.

Alphabracelets are custom made to order and cannot be resold if returned. We do not accept returns simply because you have changed your mind.
